About Archuleta County Criminal History

Archuleta County criminal-record information is divided among the sheriff, local courts, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI), the Colorado corrections system, and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry. This site organizes the official portals and contact details so readers can identify the office responsible for the record they need.

Why We Built This Site

Colorado records do not sit in one database. Archuleta County Sheriff's Office maintains its incident and custody material; Archuleta Combined Court and Pagosa Springs Municipal Court hold their own case files; and CBI maintains statewide fingerprint-supported criminal history. Colorado Department of Corrections and the Colorado Sex Offender Registry cover still other record types. We bring the verified request routes, fees, addresses, and search links for those separate systems into one reference.

What You Will Find Here

  • Official-check guidance: how CBI name-based results and fingerprint-supported personal reviews differ
  • Record guides: how to locate and interpret criminal court case records in Archuleta County
  • Record-clearing orientation: where Colorado record-sealing forms are found and which court receives a filing
  • Agency contacts: how to reach ACSO, the local court clerks, and statewide record systems

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference site, not part of a Colorado court, law-enforcement agency, or state office. Its role has firm limits:

  • We do not issue certified court documents, criminal histories, or other official copies
  • We cannot submit record requests, sealing petitions, or other filings for a visitor
  • We do not retrieve a criminal record or perform an official check for anyone
  • We cannot interpret a particular case or provide legal advice
  • We cannot promise that an office's hours, fees, address, or phone number has not changed

An official record must come from its custodian, such as ACSO, the appropriate court clerk, or CBI. This site can identify that source, but it cannot supply the document.

Search Partners

Third-party companies operate search boxes appearing on some pages and control their own results, prices, and service terms. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports this free resource. We neither set a partner's charges nor determine the information it returns.
